They play pop classics by Lou Rawls, Earth Wind & Fire and Kool & the Gang are guaranteed to have you singing and dancing the night away with tunes originally recorded by the Drifters, Catalina’s Embers, and Otis Redding. The Bakatcha Band will satisfy most discriminate Shaggers.

FULL MOON PARTY – THURSDAYS - Featuring DJ Lil Mike providing nothing but good ole fashion fun- get up sing and dance music. DJ Lil Mike has been entertaining audience since he was a young boy and has been a favorite local DJ. Tell him what you wanna hear! We’ll have great big tropical drink specials and beer & wine too. You might even get a surprise visit by the highly attractive - “Full Moon Girls.” Join us every Thursday. Don’t miss this Flip Flop Hoppin Heck Of A Good Time event every Thursday at The Last Resort! Music starts at 7:00. Come on over – Let’s get the party started.
ANNIVERSARY PARTY – APRIL 3RD. This summer season is shaping up to be a great one and we are planning a full schedule of entertainment and fun events. Don’t miss our 1st Anniversary Bash, as we’ll be rockin Pleasure Island. We planned this event early to officially kick off the season. Enjoy the great sounds of “Bakatcha Band”. Local entertainer, Doug Andrews, brings his musical talents to The Last Resort, performing his renditions true to the original, interjecting just enough unique energy and style so that you never forget you are listening to a live performance. Doug Andrews is an accomplished musician. Mike sings his heart out to old R&B tunes and favorite beach music songs. Come on over and dance, listen to one of the best local beach music bands in the area and join us for an old fashion Pig Pic’n with all the fix’ns. Tropical Drink specials await you as well as beer and wine specials too. Our goal for this event is to help support our local help center so we’ll be asking for a $2.00 donation for a plate of food. Proceeds go to the Help Center At Federal Point Food Pantry. Come out and support your local community and party with us. Mark your calendar - April 3rd starting at 6 PM.
Mark The Date On Your Calendar - May 15th - Starting at 6:00 P.M - Help us raise money for Step Up For Soldiers Again this year. Last year Last Resort members and guests raised a wopping $2000.00! This is such an important cause and we hope you'll come out again this year for our 2nd Annual Step Up For Soldiers Fundraiser Event. We'll have a good ole fashion Pig- Pic'in and of course all the fixins. Donation $6.00 - to go to Step Up For Soldiers. Enjoy the music by Train Wreck.

YES, YES, YES!!!! We are having our second annual Save The Ta - Ta's Bachelor Auction At The Last Resort! Save the date: September 12th - 5:00 - 10:00. Do you think you have the stuff it takes to be a Last Resort Bachler? We'll apply and we'll see!!! Taking Bachlor applications now. You must be single, available, have a career, offer a special package, and of course have a great sense of humor, like to have fun and be willing to donate your time to help us raise money to SAVE THE TA - TA's!
Last year we gave the New Hanover Coastal Care Van Organization over $4,000.00. We want to top that dollar amount this year so we have set a goal of $5,000.000!!!!
